What do we do?

The Pre-Dental Society calls all University of Alabama students interested in a dental career to come together and learn from each others' progress. PDS meets weekly and arranges numerous guest speakers to visit the group each semester. The students are given the opportunity to become involved with shadowing opportunities, as well as touring UAB School of Dentistry. The friendships created through the Pre-Dental Society are the beginning steps to walking your journey into dental school!

Volunteers Around the World Dental Outreach- UA

VAW Dental UA is planning a Dental mission trip to Peru in June 2019. Spend 2 weeks with fellow Pre-Dental students shadowing dentists, working in patient intake, teaching the community about oral health, and exploring the beautiful country of Peru!
